I am a PhD student working in Alex Flecker's lab in the Ecology and Evolutionary Biology Department at Cornell University. I completed my masters degree in Eric Palkovacs' Lab at University of California, Santa Cruz. I am interested in aquatic eco-evolutionary dynamics, fisheries-induced evolution, global hydropower proliferation, and nutrient cycling.

I grew up in Oakland, California and went to University of California, Santa Cruz for my undergraduate degree. As an insatiably curious person I also enjoy mechanics, disassembling (and usually reassembling) electronics, cooking, playing music, and exploring nature.
